Join us on the vineyard patio for The Chocolate Project, a relaxed and flavour-filled tasting experience designed to spark your curiosity (and satisfy your sweet tooth). You’ll enjoy a flight of five wines — including one special library selection — paired with five chocolates.
But here’s the twist: there’s no strict pairing guide. We’ll offer suggestions, but you’re encouraged to mix, match, sip, and taste your way through the lineup to discover your own perfect combinations. Notice how a bright white wine changes a creamy chocolate, or how a bold red deepens alongside dark cocoa. It’s interactive, a little indulgent, and a lot of fun.
Set against stunning vineyard and mountain views, this is an easygoing, friendly experience meant to be savoured. Bring a friend, bring your curiosity, and spend an afternoon exploring wine and chocolate in a whole new way.

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon of sips and bites, featuring new wine releases, seasonal pairings, and great company. It’s the perfect opportunity to pick up your June Club Order—or simply come to enjoy the experience if your order was shipped.
Michael Bartier, winemaker, and Andrew Moon, viticulturist, will be on hand to answer all your vine and wine questions throughout the event. Plus, each session will wrap up with a short guided tour with Michael and Andrew.

Sweet, structured, and a little surprising.
The Sweet Experience of The Pairing Project—is an exploration of how wine transforms when paired with pastry. Hosted on our patio at Bartier Bros. Winery, this guided-yet-relaxed tasting invites you to discover the interplay between fruit, texture, sugar, and acidity.
You’ll enjoy a curated flight of five wines—including one library selection—paired alongside five different pastries and/or squares. From flaky and buttery to rich and decadent, each bite is thoughtfully matched to highlight contrast, harmony, and those unexpected “aha” moments that happen when the right wine meets the right sweetness.
As with every Pairing Project experience, this isn’t about rules—it’s about exploration. We encourage guests to taste back and forth, try new combinations, and discover which pairings resonate most with their palate.
