Bartier Bros. Granite - Wholesale Info

Granite is found in abundance throughout the Okanagan Valley landscape and our new red blend is a classic Okanagan red wine – fruity and fresh, with layers of minerality combined with structured tannins and a long finish.

Winemaking:
The grapes for the Granite 2021 were hand harvested between Oct. 6-18, 2021. After picking, the grapes were de-stemmed and crushed into separate 5-ton stainless steel fermenters where they went through a cultured yeast ferment spiking at 29-31° C for 23-27 days.

Aging:
19 months in neutral French Oak barrels before blending and bottling.

12% Cabernet Franc
3% Cabernet Sauvignon

Typically, sandy loam topsoil on granitic gravel subsoils

For our trellis & pruning we use VSP (Vertical Shoot Position) / cane pruning (double Guyot)
